Halloween 2011

Halloween was pretty different this year...Reason #1:  Normally we have at least one party to go to prior to the actual day, but this year...NOTHIN'!  So the kids only got to wear their costumes once...darn. 
Reason #2:  Logan woke up barfing!  I was in the shower at 7:30 and he came running upstairs..."mom, I'm throwing up!"  We were so sad!  But thankfully he felt better by about 1 pm, so even though he missed out on the festivities at school, he got to go trick-or-treating.
Reason #3:  This was the first year Tyson went trick-or-treating with his friends.  It was so weird.  I remember being that age and not wanting to hang out with your family anymore.  He's getting so grown up.  Him and his buddies all dressed up as Jabbawockeez...pretty unique.
Reason #5:  IT DIDN'T SNOW!!!!  Or rain, or hail, sleet etc. etc.  The weather was actually perfect.  Couldn't have asked for a better night (in Utah anyway).

I was bummed I missed the Halloween parade at school, but Jake came home to take care of the little boys while I went and helped with the party for Brecklyn's class.  When she found out that Logan was sick and that I might not make it to the party, she was devastated...so we were so glad Jake could take a break for a while and help out!

We went up to Arden's for some yummy soup and then came back down to our neighborhood to trick-or-treat with Farrah and Shawn and their kids and Karalee (Shawn's sister) with her two boys.  It was a fun and easy night.
