November in a rush

I just wanted to write a quickie about November. 

A big happy birthday (on the 24th) to my older/only brother Brian!  He chose to eat at Porter's Place and then we had Black Forest cake afterwards.  It's crazy to think that he's already 34!  Man, time really flies!

We had an awesome Thanksgiving this year.  Jake's parents wanted to go to the cabin, so we did Thanksgiving dinner with my parents at our house (a first!) and then after dinner went to the cabin to hang out with Jake's fam.  Our dinner was amazing and I even dared to do the turkey, which was really yummy and got eaten up! 

It was a pretty lazy weekend, but relaxing and fun.  I read the first book of the Hunger Game series, which I'm pretty stoked about.  The only part I didn't like was at the end when the dead people get turned into ravenous wolves or whatever.  That was a little too out there and I thought unnecessary...but all-in-all a good book.

When we got home from the cabin, I tried my best to get everything done before we left for Hawaii.  It was a busy week and a busy ending to a busy month!
